In 2007, Hilco Consumer Capital acquired Apparel Holdings Group, a leader in design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of women's, men's, junior and kid's apparel under the Caribbean 
Joe®, Periscope®, Cupid's Cup®, Havana Jack’s Café® and Jamaica Bay® trademarks, and other private labels. The acquisition also included AHG Licensing, Inc., a subsidiary that owns and manages numerous strategic brand licensing agreements in both apparel and non-apparel categories. The company was renamed CJ Apparel, LLC.
Our investment was based on our strong belief that there is significant additional value in the company and its market-leading brands.
