Shaun Kobrin

Shaun Kobrin is a skilled private equity professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Shaun has a broad range of private and public market transaction experience, which encompasses all areas of finance. Shaun has focused on the Canadian mid-market and international buy-out market and has successfully built and managed a  private equity portfolio comprised of Canadian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as international and Canadian co-investment transactions. Shaun has also previously worked to manage and build a diversified investment portfolio targeted at the Canadian Wealth Management Industry.

Shaun's background in public accounting has provided him with a solid foundation in all aspects of business finance. Prior to entering the asset management field, Shaun served as senior accountant in the insolvency practice at Grant Thornton. There he was involved in all aspects of receivership and bankruptcy, as well as working in their audit practice providing business and assurance services for companies in varied industries and stages of growth.  

A graduate of York University, Shaun is a Chartered Accountant. He has served on various boards of both private and public companies and is a member of several advisory committees for a diverse group of companies.
