BRAND MATTER SIGNS ELLEN TRACY FRAGRANCE LICENSE WITH PALM BEACH BEAUTE
 
NEW YORK— Brand Matter, LLC, owner of the Ellen Tracy brand, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Palm Beach Beaute, a division of Great American Beauty, for Ellen Tracy Branded Women’s Fragrances. The program will launch at retail in Spring 2010 and will focus on Ellen Tracy’s current retail distribution, including Upscale Department and Specialty Stores. The iconic Ellen Tracy fragrance will be re-launched first, followed by a new prestige launch in Spring 2011.

Brand Matter recently signed a strategic partnership whereby Ellen Tracy Bronze Label Better Sportswear is sold in the US exclusively at Macy’s and all other product categories continue to be sold at Better Department Stores as well as Macy’s. Ellen Tracy has evolved into a lifestyle brand known for sophisticated color palettes and signature prints. Existing licensed categories include better sportswear, footwear, hosiery, eyewear, handbags, cold weather, coats, dresses, suits, women’s fragrances, jewelry, sleepwear, intimate apparel, men’s outerwear and active and luggage.
